Ice Age or Desert Age? - The real need!

Thirty years or so ago there was a fear that a new ice age was nearly upon us. I remember it well as I am a warm blooded person, by which I mean I like it hot! Given the choice I would be living somewhere where it never fell below 10C and summer temperatures were in the high 20sC to low 30sC. Being by a beach would be a bit of a bonus. So as a teenager the news of More

Time To Change The Climate Change Lobby!

Is it time to admit that this whole climate change fiasco has stretched the point of credulity too far? In my opinion we have suffered long enough at the hands of climate scientists and their fanatical attempts to persuade us all that black is white and day is night.

The climate scientists would have us believe that man made climate change is driving us to the brink of destruction, creating global warming that will have a devastating effect world-wide. The More

What will happen if we do nothing?

When you walk down the street you can hear people whispering about it, the new curse words of this decade. Climate Change. Global Warming. Carbon Footprint.

Then you hear them asking, what happens in the future if we doing nothing? The scary thing is that the future is already here. It is not longer about what is going to happen if we don’t change in the next few years, it is already too late. Species are dying, climate change is happening, and if we don’t reverse it now, it will just get worse. So what will happen?

- A British Cold Snap – We have felt it this winter already, but why? The Arctic Ice Caps are melting, and if they continue to do so at the current rate it will affect the ocean currents which drive the Gulf Stream. This current is what keeps Britain warm even though it is situated so far north.

- Sea Levels Scare – experts are guessing they will rise be about 50cm over 100 years. But what does that really mean. Floods and Storms will massively increase, and will move into not only larger areas but ones at higher elevations.

- A British Heat Wave – Yes it would be nice to live in a nice tropical place, but remember the last couple of summers in Britain where there was a week or two of unbearable heat? That will be nothing compared to the “Killer” heat waves that are expected! Globally it is predicted that the average temperature will rise by 2.5 degrees in the next hundred years.

So it would seem something must be done. We hope that you will all help us do it.
